Easy Blood Pressure & Pulse Noise Filter

Step 1: Starting Baseline (Optional)

Optional

Leave blank if unknown. The algorithm will self-initialize from your first valid reading.

Step 2: Enter Machine Readings

Enter your test readings. The filter automatically ignores noise and picks the overall best result.

How The Math Protects Your Reading

1. Noise Gate (Mahalanobis Distance)

This acts as an automatic bouncer. If you move, talk, or get nervous during a test, your blood pressure will suddenly jump. The algorithm measures how far off that jump is from your real trend. If it exceeds the safety threshold, it gets rejected as a noise spike.

2. Stability Check (Cauchy Convergence)

This acts as the stability detector. As you take multiple readings, the numbers naturally settle down. Once the difference between tests becomes very small, the algorithm locks in on your true baseline and picks the exact test with the absolute highest precision.
